THE XTEND MOVE IS NECESSARY TO COPE WITH GROWTH
The software developer for managing internal logistics will move this week to a new location at business park 'Het Laar' in Tilburg. According to Xtend, the modern building offers better accessibility and a larger workplace for the employees.
The move is especially necessary to be able to absorb the growth in customers and staff. Xtend is a sister company of system integrator Costo and, when working together on projects, it benefits from the knowledge about warehouse processes of the company from Gorinchem. Thanks to this connection, Xtend now offers a wide range of services and software to manage logistic processes. In addition to a WMS (Warehouse Management System) or a WCS (Warehouse Control System), the company also offers specific solutions for the integration of, for example, Pick-2-Light or Voice tools.
Leon Schuurbiers, CTO at Xtend says: "Our cooperation with Costo is solid and brings us to many different companies. Our in-depth knowledge of warehouse systems and especially order picking processes distinguishes us from the average WMS supplier. Due to the growth of recent years, we have been looking for a larger office and now we have found it. Nevertheless, we are always looking for experienced software developers and project managers to keep our services at a high level in terms of personalization, implementation and integration."
Xtend has already supported dozens of customers in the Benelux with its solutions, but systems have also been implemented in the United Kingdom, Ireland and Germany.
